The next concert of the 2025 Classical Festival will be a Lyric Gala, in which the prestigious Canarian soprano Laquel Lojendio will perform opera and zarzuela arias by Puccini, Dvorak, Checa, Moreno Torrona and Giménez. It will be at the Teatre Principal d’Inca on October 18 at 7 p.m.

He has performed with the main Spanish orchestras and abroad with Berliner Philharmoniker, Boston Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfònica Nazionale della Rai de Torino, Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester, Dresdner Philharmonie, Hamburguer ” de Trieste and Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse among others.
Among her operatic repertoire stand out roles such as: Alice in Falsfatt, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Violetta in La Traviata, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Morgana in Alcina, Susanna, Il Segreto di Susanna by Wolf Ferro In theaters such as Teatre Verdi in Trieste, Teatre Real in Madrid, Maestranza in Seville…
Among his concert repertoire it is worth mentioning Mahler’s 2nd, 4th and 8th Symphonies, Falla’s El Sombrero de tres Picos, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem, Moro cuz no moro, Menotti, Shostakovich’s 14th Symphony, Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Christus am Ölberge and Ninth Symphony, Villalobos’ Bacchianes Brasileiras, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung, The Wedding by Stravinsky, Frank Martin’s Maria-Triptychon…in stages such as Berliner Enescu Festival, Bergen Grieg Hall, Municipal Theater of Cali, Tolosa Halle aux Grains, Teatre Colom de Bogota among others.
He studied at the Superior Conservatory of his city and at the Superior of Music of the Liceu de Barcelona with Carmen Bustamante. He has received advanced classes from María Orán and Krisztina Laki.
He has recorded for major record labels such as Deutsche Grammophon, Naxos, Licanus, Rtve Music and Chandos.
Lojendio is trained in classical ballet by the Royal Academy of Dance in London and is a Gold Medalist from the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
